The Training and Qualification Secretariat of the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) – National Capital Region, launched a leadership training project for the movement’s structural cadres across various localities of the region. The event was held at the Faculty of Medicine, Neelain University, in partnership with the African Center for Governance, Peace, and Transformation Studies.
The three-day training course, launched under the theme “Effective Administrative Leadership in Emergency Conditions,” aims to enhance capacities and develop grassroots leadership skills to keep pace with rapid developments and ongoing challenges.
The opening session witnessed high-level and prominent participation, led by Moulana Ahmed Adam Bakhit (Dokhri), Vice President of JEM and Secretary of the National Capital Region. The attendees also included Professor Sirr Al-Khatim Abdul-Rahim, expert in administrative development and peacebuilding, Dr. Hafez Al-Omari, Dr. Al-Nour Al-Sheikh, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Neelain University, the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Human Development in Khartoum State, the Director of the African Center for Governance and Transformation Studies, and representatives from the Ministry of Justice, alongside various heads of secretariats and local branches within the movement.
In his address, Moulana Ahmed Adam Bakhit commended the pioneering and patriotic role of the African Center for Governance, Peace, and Transformation Studies. He emphasized that training and qualification are essential pillars for building conscious, capable cadres that can effectively address organizational responsibilities and support vital national and community causes amidst exceptional circumstances.
For his part, the Director of the African Center welcomed the attendees, underscoring the center’s readiness to host and execute specialized programs that contribute to human resource development and the empowerment of administrative leaders.
The launch event saw substantial engagement and interaction from the participants, who received the workshop schedule. This project forms part of a broader strategic plan by the Training Secretariat in Khartoum to build qualified leadership across all its regional and local bodies.
